About NITI socks
NITI socks are handknitted from 100% lamb wool. We believe in conscious commerce and sustainability and that is why we only use local wool from mountain Zlatibor, Serbia. We also believe that all people should be paid fairly for their work and that if you treat them nice and with respect they will put an extra effort and love into their work. Our knitters are wonderful, hard-working women from a small Serbian town Brus and they will knit your socks like our grandmas used to.
Care of NITI socks
Hand-wash in cold water (avoid warm water as heat may shrink wool).
Use mild soap, no bleach or fabric softener (bleach destroys wool fibers, and fabric softener coats those fibers—reducing their ability to naturally manage moisture and regulate body temperature).
Dry your wool socks by laying them flat (hanging wet wool may distort the shape).
